POKING AND PRODDING

We brought Jaxon into St. Joseph's Children's Hospital due to blood work that led his pediatrician to think he might have Anemia and that he needed a blood transfusion. That was Monday, July 11th. Tuesday the 12th brought the oncologist to us and a diagnoses of possible AML (Leukemia!) and a plan of action. Jaxon went in that morning to have a port installed, have a bone marrow biopsy and start first rounds of chemotherapy.
Jaxon has taken a lot of nurses on, poking prodding, measuring and is still giving out fist bumps and high fives! He's got this guys!!! He is strong and is in good hands here at St. Joseph's under Dr. Cockrell's watch. The staff is actually arguing over who gets to take care of him as they are all in as much love with him as we are!!! How could you not be? Look at that squishy face!!
